Forecast Verification

Speedwell Weather is proud of the performance of its forecast products and is transparent in the publication of historic performance.

On this page can be found links to documents showing the performance of forecasts.

In addition, qualitative and numerical forecast verification can be performed on-line with the Speedwell Ensemble Forecast Viewer. This makes it easy to over-lay archived historical forecasts with actual out-turns and climate averages. Forecast error can also be shown explicitly by choosing Chart Type "Forecast Error".
